Make A Wish granting wishes in Merced County

News

Every 34 minutes Make-A-Wish grants the wish of a child diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition.

5-year-old Raidyn from Merced County has a rare blood disorder.

This weekend, thanks to generous donations even more kids like Raidyn will get one step closer to seeing

their dream become a reality.

CBS47 anchor Joey Horta will emcee Wishes and Dreams, put on by the Central California Chapter of Make-A-Wish, Saturday, April 29, at 5:30 p.m., at the Merced County Fairgrounds Pavillion.

Last year’s event sold out.

It takes about $6,000 to grant a wish.

The organization is hoping to raising tens of thousands Saturday night which will go to children in the Central Valley.
