Woman critical after vehicle crash in northeast Fresno

Fresno emergency crews are on the scene of a single vehicle crash on Herndon Avenue between Chestnut and Maple avenues.

An unidentified 29-year-old woman was traveling eastbound on Herndon Avenue when she apparently lost control of the vehicle and hit a tree on a median.

The woman is in critical condition and has not been identified.

She has been transported to CRMC for treatment.

Neither drugs or alcohol are suspected of being a factor in this crash, and she was wearing a seat belt when the crash occurred.
