Woman, 5 dogs rescued from southeast Fresno house fire

Firefighters rescued a woman and her five dogs from a house fire in southeast Fresno on Friday, the Fresno Fire Department said.

The house is located near Chestnut and Illinois avenues.

A man walking his dog saw the flames and called 911. 

The fire appears to have started in one of the bedrooms.

The woman and the dogs weren’t hurt.

No other information was available.
