Visalia Unified’s superintendent resigning, district says

The superintendent for Visalia Unified School District is resigning, the district announced Wednesday.

“The Visalia Unified School District Board of Trustees and Superintendent Todd Oto have reached an agreement that provides for Dr. Oto’s resignation from his position as the District’s superintendent,” the district said in a statement.

The district said the board of trustees intends to appoint Tamara Ravalín as acting superintendent at its meeting on Tuesday.
