FRESNO, California (KSEE/KGPE) – Friends and family confirmed the identity of the passenger killed in Friday’s DUI Crash on Fulton Street as 23-year-old Luis Palma. Palma was an active member of Fresno State’s Nu Alpha Kappa Fraternity.

Palma was found unconscious by Fresno Police who arrived at the scene of a multi-vehicle accident on Fulton Street near Sacramento Street.

The accident happened just after midnight when Lt. Bill Dooley said 24-year-old Francisco Cabrera hit five parked cars in his gold truck while traveling at high speeds.

When police arrived, Cabrera was walking around his truck holding his head. Officers soon found Palma lying on the vehicle floorboard. Officers tried to revive him but were unsuccessful.

A GoFundMe has been set up for Palma’s family to pay for the funeral expense.
