Valadao launches 2020 campaign to regain his CA-21 seat, says Cox has a “record of nothing”

Local News

Former CA-21 congressman David Valadao is launching his 2020 campaign, calling his loss to first time congressman T.J. Cox a fluke.

Valadao believes Cox’s “record of nothing” will sway votes that he lost in the 2018 election back in his favor. Valadao also says that his, and Cox’s financial troubles will not be the focus of the campaign, but he does expect the race to get testy. Both candidates are expected to be backed by heavy campaign dollars by their respective parties, possibly making it one of the most expensive in the state for 2020.
