UC Merced closes campus due to air quality

UC Merced closed its campus on Thursday do to poor air quality caused by wildfire in California.

“Current data shows increasingly poor air quality, and in consultation with campus leadership and Merced County Public Health officials, classes are canceled and all campus locations are closed for today, Nov. 15,” the university posted on its website.

The university said it will continue to monitor the air quality and provide updates.
