UC Merced officials canceled classes leading up to the holiday break beginning Nov. 19.

School administration and public health officials announced Sunday that all campus locations will be closed on Monday, and a decision about Tuesday business operations will be made on Monday by approximately 5 p.m., the university announced.

Classes will resume on Nov. 26.

While the campus is closed, limited services will remain open, and they can be found here.

The university says some students and their families will be staying on campus during the break because they’ve lost their homes in the California wildfires.
