Three firefighters injured after fire engine overturns in Tulare County

TULARE COUNTY, California (KSEE/KGPE) – Three Cal Fire firefighters suffered unknown injuries Wednesday morning when their fire engine overturned in rural Tulare County, Cal Fire said.

Emergency crews responded to the rollover around 8:40 a.m. in the area of Avenue 56 and Road 240, just east of Ducor, the California Highway Patrol said.

The injuries from the overturned engine include the driver and two passengers, Cal Fire spokeswoman Toni Davis said.

The victims were transported by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment.

The cause of the rollover is under investigation.
