Should California college athletes be paid to play? Governor could sign off on it next week

Student athletes who attend a California college could soon get paid to play. The pay for play act is sitting on the governor’s desk waiting for his signature. The NCAA has threatened major sanctions if any California university adopts the law if it’s not vetoed.

Sports business manager and former Fresno State basketball player Jervis Cole says it’s about time and this could be the beginning of the end of the NCAA.
