Several cars and a travel trailer were destroyed in a Fresno blaze Friday night, according to Fresno Fire Department.
For unknown reasons, a fire erupted at Normal and Valentine avenues, destroying several cars and a travel trailer, says Fresno Fire Batallion Chief Thomas Cope.
“Smoke detectors save lives,” he says, as a detector was nowhere to be found on the property.
The fire was a threat to a nearby home, but flames were knocked down in time to save it.
No injuries were reported.
Earlier in the day, a California High-Speed Rail property caught fire. The building was set to be demolished in two weeks.
