Several buy quilts to help in relief efforts through the West Coast Mennonite Sale and Auction

Local News

Hundreds of handmade qulits were auctioned off Saturday at Fresno Pacific University.

It’s part of the 52nd annual West Coast Mennonite Sale and Auction. The money raised goes to relief efforts around the world.

Friday was preview night for the auction.

“(Saturday) morning at nine, we’ll have brand new quilts that can be comforters which have been tied and they’re gorgeous, but they dont have detailed quilting. All the way up to machine-quilted quilts and hand-quilted quilts,” says Lori Esau, quilt chair, West Coast Mennonite Relief Sale & Auction.

Saturday’s events ran from 7 a.m. through 4 p.m. at Fresno Pacific University.
