FRESNO, California - The gym RIDE54 is closing its doors this month, the company announced Thursday.
The family owned gym -- which opened its doors in January 2017 -- will close Oct. 30.
The company sent the follow message to its members:
I'm sorry to have to say that our last classes will be held on October 30th. The last two and a half years have been immensely rewarding, building this studio and getting to know its amazing team and extraordinary clients and partners. We've met so many inspirational people and seen some incredible transformations. But unfortunately, the expense of maintaining this business makes it unsustainable in the long term.
We'll maintain our normal class schedule through the 30th, so please continue to come sweat and smile with us during these last three weeks. If you are on monthly autopay, you will not be billed going forward. If you have class pack sessions to use, you are free to share them with others.
I hate to have to deliver this news and I want to thank each and every one of you who supported the studio in any way these last 2+ years. Some of you have been with us since the very first day and practically every day since. We're going to miss this community a lot. I feel blessed that so many of you allowed us to be a part of your lives. I hope whatever the future holds that we continue to do so.
