FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE)- Fresno police are investigating a shooting in north Fresno Friday afternoon.
Police say around 1:05 p.m., officers arrived and found a man suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds in the area of Blackstone and Sierra avenues. Police say the man was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive his injuries.
According to investigators, police are currently searching for a possible suspect in the Sierra Meadows Apartment complex.
Detectives say they found shell casings at the complex and believe the victim may have been shot in the area.
Police say officers have the area surrounded and are working to learn more about the shooting because the victim has not been cooperative with authorities.
