PARLIER, California (KSEE) – A 17-year-old is behind bars after police arrested him for vandalizing a Parlier park last week.

Officers were called to Heritage Park on Friday after the graffiti was discovered. The damage came less than a month after its inauguration.

Investigators connected the incident with another one in Fowler. Detectives also received tips identifying a suspect. That led officers to the 17-year-old unidentified suspect in Parlier.

The teenage suspect was arrested on Tuesday without incident and booked into Fresno County Juvenile Justice Campus.
