One person killed, firefighter injured in Fresno house fire

Update –  One person was found dead and a firefighter injured after a house fire in Central Fresno on Saturday morning, according to the Fresno Fire Department. 

Fresno Fire responded to a fire in the area of E. Bremer and N. College Ave around 6 a.m. One person was found dead.

One firefighter suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment and released.

The victim has not yet been identified, and arson investigators are working to determine the fire’s cause.
