A man suffered traumatic injuries Wednesday night after a car struck him while walking in Fresno County.
At around 9:53 p.m., California Highway Patrol received reports of a vehicle versus pedestrian near Valentine and McKinley avenues.
When officers arrived, they determined an unidentified man was struck by a vehicle while either walking in or near the northbound lane of Valentine Avenue.
The suspect and the suspect car that fled the area has not been located as of Thursday afternoon.
Officers say the victim was taken to Community Regional Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
