Hit-and-run crash, fire closes Sky Harbour Road near Millerton Lake

FRESNO COUNTY, California – A fiery hit-and-run crash closed Sky Harbour Road, near Millerton Lake, Saturday afternoon.

The solo crash happened just before 5 p.m. at Millerton and Sky Harbour roads, according to California Highway Patrol.

CHP reports that the driver leg bailed from the car and another car picked him up.

It’s unknown why the car caught fire, but the blaze burned at least 10 acres before it was knocked down by crews.

No injuries have been reported.
