Greyhound bus crashes on Highway 99 in Fresno

A Greyhound bus driver was arrested for DUI after an accident near Highway 180 and Highway 99 in Fresno. 

The California Highway Patrol said a Greyhound bus was headed south on 99 with 35 passengers on board when it crashed near Highway 180. 

CHP said eight to ten passengers complained of pain. One passenger was transported to Community Regional Medical Center.

The Greyhound bus driver 28-year-old Ashton Castillo was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs and transported to CHP headquarters.

He was eventually booked into Fresno County Jail and is facing felony DUI charges as well as misdemeanor driving without a license.
