Local News

Friends and family of the 21-year-old Fresno woman who crashed into a tree and died Monday night are raising money for her memorial.

Paige Alexander crashed around 11 p.m. at Shepherd and Chestnut avenues. Police say speed may have been a factor, but they are working to determine the cause.

She was a student at Clovis Community College. A statement was released by the college: “We are deeply saddened to learn Ms. Alexander was our student and our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends during this difficult time. We offer our deepest condolences on behalf of the college.”
