Techies of all sorts took over the Fresno State north gym for 24 hours Saturday for Hack Fresno.
During the hack-a-thon event, computer designers and programmers come together and try to create their own program, website, even an app.
The creations have to fit four themes: environment, agriculture, education and social good.
Then, Sunday at noon, the projects, finished or not, are judged.
“In the end you had opportunities to network, you had opportunities to enhance your skill set and build your resume, and you also met a lot of people and had some fun doing it,” says Aaron Marroquin, head of public relations.
