Fresno Rescue Mission in need of canned goods amid a shortage of resources

Local News

FRESNO, California (KSEE/KGPE) – The Fresno Rescue Mission is in need of canned foods amid a shortage at their facility.

This summer, they’ve served nearly 67,000 meals, or 736 meals a day.

“The number of guests we serve has continued to increase this summer. With your help, we can continue loving and feeding our neighbors in need within our community,” said the organization on a Facebook post.

To donate, bring your donations to The Fresno Rescue mission at 263 G. St. or The Fresno Rescue Mission Thrift store 181 E. Sierra Ave.

Canned soups and vegetables and boxed non-perishable such as pasta, rice and mashed potatoes are needed.
