A motorcyclist was knocked of his bike Sunday afternoon when he collided into a truck pulling a flatbed trailer.

It happened around 4 p.m. at Jensen and Ivy avenues, according to Lt. Larry Bowlan with the Fresno Police Department.

He says three men were traveling on their motorcycles on Jensen Avenue when a truck was making a U-turn back onto Jensen Avenue.

One of the motorcyclists didn’t see the truck in time and slammed into the trailer, Bowlan says. Several 911 calls came in as the man was lying in the roadway.

His friends came to his aid while EMS was en route.

Bowlan says the man was transferred to Community Regional Medical Center for road rash and other seemingly minor injuries.

Drugs and/or alcohol does not appear to be a factor for any of the involved parties.
