Fresno Grizzlies founder passes away, team officials announce

FRESNO, California – The founder of the Fresno Grizzlies passed away Saturday, according to team officials.

John Carbray, 80, and Diane, his wife, are said to be responsible for bringing the team to the Central Valley.

“Thank you John for bringing professional baseball back to Fresno,” the Grizzlies said in a tweet.
