Fresno girl’s lemonade stand raises money for neighbors who lost house in fire

Local News

FRESNO, California – A Fresno girl started a lemonade stand to help raise money for her neighbors who lost their house in a fire this week.

Originally, she was trying to raise money for her own dog kennel, but after seeing her neighbors’ house go up in flames, she decided to raise the money for them instead.

“The owner of the house came out and said ‘That’s really brilliant, and thank you so much for donating,'” Kaley Cross said.

She’ll be back Thursday night with her lemonade stand in the neighborhood near Millbrook Avenue and Fort Washington Road.

The house burnt down near east Essex and north Heather drives.
