Fire burns abandoned building in central Fresno

FRESNO, California (KSEE/KGPE) — A fire burned a commercial building in central Fresno early Monday morning.

The fire started around 5 a.m. near Belmont and Glenn avenues.

Firefighters say the building was boarded up. Crews saw flames shooting out the front door and roof when they arrived.  

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
