EXCLUSIVE: Nunes fires back at Governor Newsom over gun laws after Gilroy shooting, addresses Intel Chief position

Local News

The ranking member of the House Intelligence committee is firing back at Governor Gavin Newsom for blaming the Trump Administration and GOP leaders for the deadly mass shooting in Gilroy.

Nunes says he didn’t blame Newsom for the sanctuary law in California when an undocumented immigrant went on a shooting rampage in Tulare County last year.

Nunes also addressed the rumor of being President Trump’s first pick to replace Dan Coates as the Director of National Intelligence. Nunes admitted he recommended congressman John Ratcliffe. On Friday Ratcliffe withdrew his name from consideration.
