Domestic violence call turns into a high-speed pursuit through Fresno

Local News

FRESNO, California (KGPE) – One person has been arrested after a high-speed chase through the streets of Fresno, which began as a domestic violence call.

The chase began Wednesday around 9 p.m. when police officers responded to a domestic violence call; officers say the suspect actually pulled up behind them.

“They saw the vehicle actually in their rear-view mirror,” explained Lt. Bill Dooley.

“He pulled up behind the officers as they were driving. The officers maneuvered behind him, tried to initiate a traffic stop but he took off.”

Police air units continued the chase and the vehicle was stopped at Ashlan and West. 34-year-old Miguel Felix attempted to flee into a nearby McDonalds but was taken into custody.
