Do you know these two? Tower District bar owner says they stole locally-made art pieces

Local News

Update –  Goldstein’s Mortuary & Delicatessen said in a Facebook post “Our shopping cart chair has made a triumphant return! Thanks to everyone who shared, and provided information. I’ve never seen a case get solved so quickly!! “

Two people who visted Goldstein’s Mortuary & Delicatessen in the Tower District are accused of stealing locally-made art pieces from the bar.

The owner of the bar posted in the “Please Help Stop Crime in the Tower District” Facebook page that they stole the pieces Saturday around 6 p.m.

The pieces are handmade shopping carts that customers normally sit in during their visit to the popular bar.

Video shows them sitting in the cart and someone pushing them around a bit. The owner then says they ran out the front door, and across Wishon Avenue where they disappeared.

“Really kinda of upset, but if anyone can help us recover them, it’s our local Tower community,” the bar owner says.

Anyone who can identify the suspects are asked to contact the owner on the bar’s Facebook page.
