Crash knocks out power to 400 customers in Fresno County

UPDATE: There were 69 customers still without power as of 9:55 a.m.

ORIGINAL STORY: A vehicle that crashed into a power pole in Fresno County knocked out power to about 400 customers Wednesday morning.

The crash happened around 6:30 a.m. in the area of Olive and Temperance avenues, and power lines were down, according to the California Highway Patrol.

There was no word on injuries in the crash.

PG&E says there were 409 customers without power.

It’s still unknown if the crash was weather related.
