Clovis Unified School District is having a job fair Wednesday at the Clovis Unified Professional Development Building.
The district prides in hiring the best, that is why they set up a job fair each year.
“We know that the community entrusts us to hire the very best because we want to impact our students from kinder all the way through high school and beyond,” Barry Jager, the Associate Superintendent.
School administrators are looking for candidates to join the team for the 2019 to 2020 school year.
That includes general and special education teachers, school psychologists, speech pathologists and preschool teachers.
As well as, classified employees like bus drivers.
Each year the district hires close to 150 teachers and almost twice that many general employees.
Wednesday candidates came by with their resume at hand, ready to be interviewed.
“It’s our opportunity to share our core values with our candidates and for them to share their skill set and their interest in our district,” Jager said.
The job fair ends at 6:30 p.m.
