The City of Clovis says each address within city limits is allowed up to 10 free sandbag to protect their homes during the wet, rainy weather.
Residents can pick up their sandbags at the City of Clovis Corporation Yard at 155 N. Sunnyside Ave., between Tollhouse Road and Herndon Avenue, across from Sierra Bicentennial Park.
Sandbags are used in and around property lines to prevent flood water damage and to divert moving water around, instead of through, buildings.
For any additional questions about sandbags for Clovis residents, contact the public works department at 559-324-2600.
