Several people were injured in a multi car crash on Highway 180 in Fresno Sunday night.
Seven cars collided on westbound Highway 180, near De Wolf Avenue, according to Sgt. Edward Jacobs with the California Highway Patrol.
Adults and children were taken to Community Regional Medical Center for major and/or minor injuries from the collision, but Jacobs says the children’s injuries weren’t as bad as the adult’s.
Jacobs says a reckless, possible DUI driver, was driving eastbound when he collided into a car, sending him over to the westbound lanes, colliding into five more cars.
The driver is in stable condition at CRMC, Jacobs says.
There is a detour set up off of De Wolf Avenue as the scene is cleared up.
