CHP investigating after receiving reports of objects being thrown at vehicles in Pacheco Pass

The California Highway Patrol is investigating after receiving several reports of objects hitting vehicles along the Pacheco Pass.

The latest incident happened Wednesday night around 10:30 p.m.  

CHP- Hollister/Gilroy received a call of an incident involving someone throwing an item at a vehicle along the Pacheco Pass (HWY 152).

CHP tells us they started receiving some reports in early 2018; and during their investigation they have recovered rocks in some vehicles. 

Much of the cases have occurred between El Toro Rd. and Casa de Fruta.

CHP- Los Banos says if a suspicious object impacts your vehicle or causes damage to pull over immediately to a safe spot and notify 911. 

They also said if people witness a crime or fall victim to a crime it is important to report it quickly.
