Chase ends in deadly crash in Central Fresno

FRESNO, California – One person was killed and another was injured after their motorcycle crashed during a high-speed chase on Tuesday.

It after 5 a.m. in the area of Palm and Dakota avenues.

Officers were chasing two people on a motorcycle when it crashed. Palm and Dakota avenues were shut down while authorities investigated.

The man who was driving is in surgery. His prognosis is unknown.

If he survives, he will later be booked into jail for evading police, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office said.
