Calfire crews battle more than 40-acre blaze in western Fresno County

Calfire crews are battling a more than 40-acre fire in western Fresno County Saturday, according to fire officials.

At around 3:30 p.m., the agency said the fire was at 49 acres and 60% contained at Panoche and Little Panoche roads.

“Difficult access and high winds hampered containment,” Calfire said in a tweet.
