A busy central Fresno intersection has major traffic issues Monday after a truck hit some low-hanging phone lines.

Traffic was impacted at First Street and Ashlan Avenue after a box truck clipped some phone lines that were hanging low.

Traffic going east and west on Ashlan Avenue was still open — though slow. Traffic going north and south on First Street was closed.

No other information was immediately available.
