63rd annual Tulare Christmas Parade celebration grand marshaled by Tulare native

The 63rd annaul Tulare Children’s Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting is underway, marking its largest turnout in history.

There were more than eighty entries for this year’s downtown parade, and grand marshal, Tulare native Karissa Chapman says she’s just excited to be part of the event.

The parade began at 6:30 p.m. and the tree lighting took place just moments before.

People began lining up K Street around 4 p.m. to get a view of the historic parade.
