According to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office, approximately 303 people have been evacuated, as a result of the Goose Fire. In addition, 229 homes have been contacted.

In addition, 400 to 600 animals have been evacuated, according to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office.

The fire, according to officials with Cal FIRE, has burned 1,800 acres of land, and it is 15% contained.

According to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office, the following roads in the area are closed.

  • Nicolas and Loper
  • Highway 168 and Goosberry
  • Lockwood and Shady Lane
  • Loper and Skyridge
  • Gooseberry and Pennyroyal
  • Tollhouse and Lodge
  • Lodge and Highway 168
