Hundreds all week

News

Sunday was one degree below Fresno’s average high temperature of 99 degrees.

Temperatures jump to a sizzling 104 degrees for Monday’s high and only get warmer the rest of the week!

Monsoon storms are possible in the Sierra this week. The best chance is Thursday, but there are slight chances on Tuesday and Wednesday as well. We use the word monsoon because this time of year they come from the east, and that’s unusual for us. A few may make it over the crest and even into foothill areas, but it’s not possible yet to know exactly when and where.

Temperatures get warmer and warmer through the week ahead. 104, 105 degrees for highs through midweek. 106, 107 degrees next weekend.

Stay cool!
