Hanford Walmart store evacuated after bomb threat

Officials say around 7 p.m., Walmart employees got a call from an unknown man and number, stating multiple times, there was a bomb inside the store.

Police say the associate told his manager, who evacuated the store.

Officers then searched the Walmart, which was evacuated for about an hour-and-a-half.

Officials found nothing suspicious, and the store went back to business.

At least 75 employees, roughly 200 people total, were evacuated.

Officials are still looking into who made the call.

Hanford police will be patrolling the parking lot.
