Good Samaritans rescue man from Fresno canal

News

A group of good Samaritans came to the rescue of driver who crashed into a canal in Fresno. 

The group pulled the person out of the water. 

This happened around 5:40p.m. at a canal near Ashlan and West ave. 

According to investigators the driver had a medical issue, possibly a seizure, he swerved off the road, struck a wooden light pole and went into the canal.

He was the only one in the car. He was taken to the hospital and listed in stable condition.

The incident was caught on camera, this video was sent to us by viewer Mary Calderon.
