Going for Gold: Is Rio ready for the Olympics?


The first South American city to host the Olympics has struggled with street violence, political corruption and fears over the Zika virus.

“To be honest, I’ve never seen an Olympics with such a wide array of potential problems,” Bob Costas with NBC Olympics said. 
While troops train for the worst, Rio hopes for the best. 
“Rio is going to be the safest place in earth to be by August,” Rio de Janeiro Mayor Eduardo Paes said.
