Ghosts and zombies audition for Sanger haunted attraction Hobb’s Grove “boo crew”

The haunted attraction held auditions Sunday, for all the monsters and creatures scaring revelers in its hayride, haunted forest and haunted house.

Those auditioning had to do their best zombie walk, scream, growls and according to the grove’s website, “witch cackling and wolf howling.”

Staff says about 50 people showed up to try out, some in costume.

Staff also says, they look for creativity and energy.

“Definitely looking for those who have a passion for everything that is Halloween,” Hobb’s Grove staff member Christopher Cole said. “And then, also knowing that what comes first, is not just the self, but the people you want to scare.”

Hobb’s Grove runs from October 4th through early November.
