Gang Member With Loaded Gun Busted In Front Of Fresno Liquor Store

The Fresno Police Department says that Thursday afternoon at around 1PM.  Members of the Special Response Team came into contact with two subjects sitting in front of Wayne’s Liquor at East California and Fresno Street.

The occupants of the vehicle have been identified as 25-year old Cecelia Perez and 26-year old Jarvis Richerson, both of Fresno.   Richerson was found to be on probation for illegal firearms possession and is a member of the Hoover Crips.

Officers checked the vehicle and found a loaded .380 caliber handgun hidden in a backpack.  Perez was arrested for firearms violations.  Richerson was arrested for probation violations. Both are now at the Fresno County Jail.
