Fresno’s Women of the Year

Women of the Year

Women from each district within Fresno were honored at City Hall.

The women were honored at Thursday’s Women of the Year event. This is the first time the city council has done this. Women in each district were chosen for what they do for their community, their leadership, and bringing people together.

“They don’t look for recognition, they don’t look for accolades, they look for jobs, they look for projects, things that they can do to make the city of Fresno the best city in California,” said Paul Caprioglio, a Fresno city council member.

The women of the year are Josephine Kiran, Ann Kloose, Felicia Quareles Treadwell, Mary Castro, Dorothy Manjarrez, Nancy Walker, and Pastor Ann Lopez.
