Fresno State fans gearing up to support Bulldogs in Las Vegas Bowl

News

The Fresno State Bulldogs are headed to the 2018 Mitsubishi Motors Las Vegas Bowl. The game is on Saturday, December 15, and fans in the Central Valley are already gearing up to travel to support the team.

No one is more proud of the Bulldogs, than the Fresno State community. And when they take on Arizona State next Saturday, true fans are going to show up in droves.

Fresno State ASI President Demitria Wack said  on Monday, “We are actually going to be sending a bus through our Associated Students.”

Wack said the “Red Wave” will travel to Las Vegas. Details on ticket prices and travel times will be on ASI’s social media pages.

“We just sell it out of our office to students at discounted rates, and that pays for their food, the ticket, and the bus trip,” stated Wack.

And, of course, fans will need the newest gear. Jill Crecelius at the Sports Station in Fresno showed us the design of the new Fresno State Mountain West Championship shirt.

She said, “Even this morning without the shirts in yet, people constantly coming in asking where they can get the Mountain West Championship shirts.”

Crecelius said the Bulldogs’ big win against Boise State has helped boost business.

“Sales have been improving every day. The Fresno State stuff has been fantastic!” exclaimed the Sports Station manager.

Wack said she looks forward to cheering on the football team and bringing home a win.

“I think there’s great pride around Fresno State, especially our football team, and it brings a lot of joy to this whole community,” ended Wack.
