Fresno police investigating a drug-related hazmat in Southeast Fresno

News

FRESNO, California – Fresno police say they responded to a home near S. Fordham and E. Atchison around 1:30 p.m. Monday for a medical aid call.

Police said when they arrived they found two men unconscious, they appeared to be suffering from possible exposure or overdose to an unknown substance.

A Fresno fire hazmat unit responded along with the Department of Justice to determine what the substance is.

The two men were taken to Community Region Medical Center, their condition is unknown.
