A tilted palm tree and piece’s of the metal belonging to the vehicle of 32-year-old Brittney Taylor of Fresno was all that was left near Olive and Cornelia.

On Sunday Fresno County Sheriff responded to a call of shots fired. When they got there they found Taylor who had crashed into a tree dead and had been shot several times.

“They got her out and started to give her cpr they took a closer look and determined she had been shot multiple times she died at the scene,” said Tony Botti with Fresno County Sheriff.

Monday 29-year-old Terrence Boston, Taylor’s boyfriend was arrested in connection with the crime.

“One will assume that there was some sort of disagreement between them they were talking at one moment and the next thing you know shots were she is struck and she is speeding away,” said Botti.

Marcos Rivera lives on the property where Taylor’s vehicle came to a complete stop and said he’ll never forget that horrible morning.

“When she smashed into the tree it was very noticeable and that was when i came out and called 911,” said Rivera.
