Fresno Homeowner Confronts three burglars

News

A Northeast Fresno man found himself in a struggle with three burglars he found inside his home after he returned from another location.

Police say the man found a group of three African American males had kicked in the front door and were ransacking his home.

Once he got over the surprise, he struggled with the suspects, who all ran from the house.

“The homeowner came home, found the front door kicked in to his house. Found these three black males in his house that’s when the struggle began. They took off with some of the property. Some of the property when officers got here was recovered because the two were taken into custody”, says Lt. Mark Hudson of the Fresno Police Department.

Officers were on scene very soon after the scuffle broke out, and the FPD Helicopter could be seen circling nearby neighborhoods searching for the outstanding suspect. The third suspect was taken into custody later that night.

The homeowner was not seriously hurt during the scuffle.
